One of my platform planks is to ask the city to began the practice of using Licensed Private Investigators to solve some of these murders and gun crimes. The city has a long standing practice of contracting out major law suits to outside firms. As it stands now you have people that would rather kill a person than shoplift at Wal-Mart. Once people hear that people are being caught for murders they will discontinue.The creation of job training and apprenticeship opportunities is also a partner in reducing crime in the community.

The pension promises made to City of Chicago employees should be honored. Benefits to current employees and retirees should not be reduced because of the failure of politicians to make adequate pension payments into the pension system. I believe that we can reallocate current revenue by first looking at the wasteful spending set forth by the current corrupt politician regime. I would support increasing revenue via a LaSalle St. tax, the profits generated by a municipal owned bank, and taxing the recreational use of marijuana.

I believe the most pressing issue facing constituents is the public infrastructure. Economic development is at the helm of revitalizing the 20th Ward. As jobs are created and schools enhanced, constituents will be given greater opportunities that support their livelihood. It is most important to address issues that damage or carry the potential to damage ward constituents and their futures. As a visionary, I can’t help but consider the impact of low economic development and how it ensures the steady decline of future generations. If we are to reclaim our communities, we are to confront our most pressing issues with the knowledge, compassion, tenacity and perseverance required to leave a generous contribution in the lives of the constituents within the 20th Ward.

Hey just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.

Poverty. We have high rates of poverty and unemployment in the 12th Ward. We need a publicly funded jobs program to bring some economic stability to the Ward. Specifically, we need to give people the opportunity to be trained as union laborers and plumbers and the chance to work at prevailing wage replacing lead service lines.

I implemented in my platform an anti-political campaign, that refuses to take fund from any entity that’ll distract the attention from the needs of the 37th ward’s residence. I believe politics takes from the needs of the people that the government is suppose to serve, and prioritize the wants of the donors that contributed to their campaign. There isn’t and will not be any conflict of the people’s interests when I’m in office

Where, I would ask the people who are playing lawyer here (or may be actual lawyers), is the public support going to come from to keep wilderness going? No one seems to want to talk about this.
